Follow @RunningTerritory for more. People say to me "oh you're so lucky that you're so fit" or "you're so lucky that you're so strong". The thing is luck doesn't get me out of bed at 4:00am morning. Luck doesn't put my trainers on. Luck really doesn't have anything to do with it. To be brutally honest it comes down to the combination of two things - hard work and consistency. It's not easy. But what ever worth having is easy? Feeling strong isn't something that happened overnight. Some of you many not know this but I come from a pretty competitive running background, so when I walked into a crossfit shed for the first time about 5 years ago, I was completely out of my comfort zone. I remember thinking "what have I gotten myself into?". I had little to no upper body strength. I could barley do a push up on my knees let alone my toes, and the idea of doing a pull up was just insane. But the very combination of those two things is what has earned me the strength I have today. So if I can do it, you can do it to. The hard truth is that it will take time, it will take energy, sweat, tears and maybe even a little blood, but the feeling of being able to say "wow, I couldn't do that last week" will be worth every bit of it ✨ #RunningTerritory (📷: @cassolholm)

Week 2, day 1- done!!
You won't know what you can achieve if you never try. 🤷🏼♀️ .
How many new year's, new month's, and Monday's have gone by where you said "this is the one where I will make a change!"??? And then you don't really try or you fall off because of this excuse or that excuse. 🤦🏼♀️
It doesn't have to be that way at all. You just need the right workouts, a little determination, and some support. If you bring the determination, I've got the rest covered!! I have 5 spots available for a September 3rd start (oh look! A new month!!! 😘). Let's do this!!
Minha cara resume tudo! 🤢 #pankei#choranãocoleguinha#pracima#ProjetoAnaPivetta
My life has consisted of heating pads, muscle relaxers, and pain killers. I missed my race yesterday morning and it hurt like hell picking up my bike from transition and seeing everyone getting ready for the race. I found out today that I had 2 ribs out that the chiropractor put back in and levels of strain around my T-7, T-8, and rhomboid. It could be 2-3 weeks before I can get back into full on training but I'm counting on seeing the chiropractor and PT is going to bring me back stronger than I was at the start.
There are 2 weeks until my kids go off to school. And it's been one week plus a day since I've ran, swam, or cycled. I'm tossing the idea around of taking the next two weeks off too, and picking up again when the kids are away. I can see how much training I'll lose, but I can also see how much I'll gain with the kids. Have you ever taken a month completely off? #triathlete#swim#bike#run#offseason#timetorest#knitter#knitterofinstagram#womenwhotri
🔊 When screening runners, Sydney often notices they are pretty strong in the sagittal plane (back and forth movements) but weak or unstable in the frontal plane (side to side movements) particularly around the core. Which is why it is so important that runners work on their side planks, rather than focusing extensively on the standard face-down plank . ⚠️ Give this exercise a try and comment below with any questions! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏾♂️

The power to change is comes from looking forward and a deep belief that things can be better than they are.
Hiked 3 miles out at Sugarcreek after work. Wanted 6, but it was nonstop thunder and pouring rain with a weather alert on my phone, so had to bail early. Still happy to get some time on the trails! #triathlete
Dropped the kids at school this morning and was greeted by an empty pool. After battling back to school traffic it was time to put in some laps before beginning the work day. #swimming#cutlerridgepark#multiraceteam
On fire 🔥 na Serra do Caldeirão 😉
